Now in beta · AI-powered group planning

Your group trip, out of the group chat.

Trip Tonic turns scattered links and “we should totally…” messages into one shared, day-by-day itinerary your whole group actually agrees on.

Why Trip Tonic

Group trips die in the group chat. Yours doesn’t have to.

It always starts the same way: a burst of excitement, forty links, six people saying “whatever works for you” — and then nothing. Nobody actually decided anything, and by the time somebody checks, the flights have gone up.

Trip Tonic is built for exactly that moment.

What you get

A trip that plans itself into shape

The shared itinerary

One plan the whole group can edit

Every place and every day in one timeline your crew opens with a link. Drag something to a different slot and it has already moved for everyone else.

  • Timeline, month, week and per-day hour grid — the same trip, whichever way your group thinks
  • Comments and reactions sit on the block itself, so feedback lands on the plan instead of in a thread

Tonic, your AI co-planner

Start with a sentence, not a blank page

Tell Tonic the kind of trip you want and it drafts real days around real places, then reworks them as the group reacts.

  • Drafts arrive as ghost slots you accept or discard one at a time
  • Nothing enters the plan until somebody says yes

When you can't agree

Decisions get made, not deferred

Beach or Sintra? Put it to the group and the plan updates itself the moment the vote lands. Still split down the middle? Fork the day and let both halves have theirs.

  • Every vote is tied to the plan it is about, so the result changes the trip
  • Sub-groups run their own version of a day and rejoin whenever you like

One link. Whole trip. Everyone in sync.

Also included

  • Map discovery search places on a live map and add them in a tap

  • Cost splitting shared expenses with a running balance of who owes what

  • Routes between stops see how a day actually connects before you commit to it

  • Group chat built in the conversation lives next to the plan, not in another app

  • Live updates everyone sees a change the moment it happens

  • Invite links one link puts the whole group on the same trip

How it works

Three steps, then you’re planning

  1. 01

    Start a trip

Dates, a rough destination, and one link to send your crew.

  2. 02

    Let it take shape

Everyone adds what they want, Tonic drafts the days, the group settles the rest.

  3. 03

    Go

Follow the plan, change it on the road, and split the bill at the end.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Is Trip Tonic free to use?

While we're in beta, yes — every feature is included, with no limits and no credit card required. Paid plans arrive after launch, and beta members will be the first to know.

What does 'beta' mean for my trip?

The core product — shared itineraries, map discovery, Tonic AI, group votes, and cost splitting — is ready for real trips today. You might spot rough edges, and your feedback directly shapes what we build next.

Do my friends need to pay too?

No — invite as many people as you like during the beta. After launch, group pricing stays simple: one organizer upgrades and the whole trip is unlocked for everyone they invite.

Does the AI decide things for us?

No. Tonic's drafts land as suggestions you accept or discard one at a time, and nothing enters the itinerary until someone says yes. You can edit or undo anything it did.

What happens if two of us edit at once?

Nothing breaks — the itinerary is live for everyone, so you see each other's changes as they happen rather than finding out later. Where you genuinely disagree, put it to a vote or branch the day instead.

Can I track and split trip costs?

Yes. Log shared expenses, see a running balance of who owes what, and settle up — no spreadsheets needed.

Be in before everyone else

Trip Tonic is in beta and free while it lasts. Bring your group, plan a real trip, and shape what we build next.
